Partner has a very nice hand... probably a solid 6 card club suit , maybe A Q of spades.. i hope not. would love for p to have just the ace of spades and k of hearts!!! because i am jumping to 6 hearts over the 3nt.. maybe we can make 7!! i think 4 spades a very misleading bid over 4nt,,

I bid 3 hearts or 3 diamonds .. 3 hearts against weaker opponents and 3 diamonds against stronger... hoping to keep them out of slam!! I can sac @ 5 spades if need be ... but will not sac at 6 , they may have a grand slam!! too big a risk @ .10 cents/point..

just read others and saw hand... player who opens 3 clubs in first seat unfav vun does not understand game!!

first of all, this hand is 2.5 quick tricks and should always be opened!! 2nd when people give hands such as this they should always give vunerability and imps match or whatever!!! not knowing vun, etc.. I bid 3 hearts Imps Red.... always 4 hearts!!!

P has a very nice club suit in all probability .. although he may have QJx of diam and a fairly srong hand.. as I have told him I am weak with nothing but diam.. possibly 6 to the k and another 3 or 4 points.. I must bid 3nt!!!

1 spade is the bid. if we r non vun and oponents are red I would consider opening 4 spades if p has passed!!
