Thanks Larry for your reply. Your modifications are interesting. We are 4hrs 30 mins ahead of GMT. If our time diff is 12 hrs , I think we can still find a common time e.g. your 10 - 11 am will be my 10-11 pm or other way round. Regards, Avinash

I am intermediate level . Love Precision. Am looking for a partner to play regularly with. Prefer that partners discuss and agree on system and conventions and then follow them. I think I am OK at bidding but bit weak in card play Am open minded, never mind if my partner points out my mistakes. Am a retired person in India. we can decide mutually convenient time.

Hi Ian - I would like to play with you if it suits you. But am only "Intermediate" level so I understand that you would prefer a better player. the reasons why I am still replying are - 1. I believe I will improve if I play with a regular partner 2. Once I study a system I generally don't err in bidding. 3. I see that most players are not prepared to thoroughly discuss systems with partner but think bridge can be played by just "common sense".Bye the way I have with me SAYC write up but I don't know the variant mentioned by you so will need to find material and read it. Even if you choose someone else as a regular partner I would welcome it if you would like to play occasionally with me. I am a retired Accountant and am in India Mumbai.

I loved reading Kaplan's book on bridge (which was 4 card suit opennings) and have become a Kaplan fan.I would like to play Kaplan Sheinwold with a player of my level. But first where can I find documentation / a book giving details of the system? I am In India and can play 10pm to 11pm IST.
