Does anyone know a good book on learning when doubles are penalty and when they are take out? The other night I was playing at IMPs.... they red us white. (P) - 1H - (P) - 1NT (P) - P - (2S) - P (P) - X - (P) - P (P) Is that double take out or is it for penalty?

I know bidding blackwood is wrong because of the void I know I want to get to slam but how can I figure out if my partner has help in spades? Should I have even used NMF at all and just have bid 2S? 2) In another hand I had J9xxxx in dummy and KTx in my hand. What is the best way to play the suit?

When ever I am dummy I never even watch the play. I find it makes me less critical of my partner and if they want to go over something later i can watch the movie.

When you hold your cursor over the other table line that shows you the contract and result, The bidding from the other table shows up. But if there is a redouble it is not showing up in the box that pops up. It is just missing so all of the other bids slide one spot to the left

Thanks uday for your reply. I thought it was better to ask then for me to sit here and wonder if it could be done. I understand why you wouldn't want to put them into the database. Well yes we do run a few tables in the BBO tourney room... Speedball, Big singles, and the staff tourney. They have been very popular. I just have some questions though. Just what exactly is A- for a total points tourney? Also when we started the tourney there were 150 pairs. We had removed offline people 2 minutes before. However when the tourney started we only had 72 tables what happened to the other 6 pairs? Are some size limits better than others so people don't get dropped from the tourney?

Would it be possible to include hands played in the total points club into the my hands folder or somehow keep the boards played in the movie. As a TD it is nearly impossible to make a decision because after the board has been played it is gone. and makes it really difficult to figure out what happened because it is usually he said she said. Also a chat to club shortcut would be nice (like ctrl-k for kibs). or maybe there is one that i haven't found yet.. Thanks
