Tonight was the first time BBO offered players a chance to meet f2f. The challenge was teamwork: dogs v. cats - and the cats won! There was a special prize for the dog team who bid and made a slam (not I, sigh). Hopefully this will catch on and be a fun event to look forward to. Mistysheila

I frequently play in bot tourneys. By hovering over the bids I have learned some new bridge skills. Overall my game is not extraordinary but I am consistent in my bidding. I stick with the rules of conventions when I bid. When my bot partner and I have found a fit in hearts, after I bid 4H the bot bids 6 clubs. Clubs had not been bid at all - where did this outlandish bid come from? The bot bid after what I thought was the final bid. What happened?

Yessss!!! I'm chomping with the hopes and dream of earning gold points. Realistically, my level of expectation isn't too high, given my skill level. But who knows, every dog has her day. Mistysheil

I am looking for a partner who plays either 2/1 or SAYC, using the following conventions: Jacoby 2nt, splinters, nmf, inverted minors, support x, neg x to 3s, gerber after any NT, xfers to Majors/minors, Texas xfers, RKC 0314, Capelletti, lavinthal or odd/even discards, Western cue bids, OGUST, Lebensohl. I'm flexible and will yield to partner's preferences. I live in New York City and play f2f at Honors when I have a partner. It would be wonderful to pair up with someone in NY to play f2f in addition to playing online at BBO. I'm one of the original members of Swangames, a very small and friendly online bridge site. I look forward to some good bridge games.
