When I click on the 3H bid on this hand https://www.bridgebase.com/tools/handviewer.html?bbo=y&myhand=M-1255425086-1622743730 I get some corrupt characters at the beginning of the string. The string should be "It's ogust ...", but the single quote is replaced with something else. I noticed this on some other alerts too, it only started happening lately. Thank you for looking into it.

However we cannot use it at present as it facilitates talking at the table during bidding and play which can be very disruptive and enables passing unauthorised information and therefore cheating. I presume it is introduced for the social aspect of the game as it would be nice to see your bridge friends, especially now when face to face clubs are closed. Would it be possible to add an option to start video chat at the end of the round when there might be some time left for a chat?

In our club we like both competitive and social aspect of playing bridge. We were taught it is unethical to look at the partners face while bidding or playing to avoid inadvertently passing unauthorised information. We communicate through cards while playing, but have a nice chat, time permitting, at the end of the hand. On BBO it would be nice to see and hear each other, but I think this would work only at the end of the hand. Perhaps there should be a virtual screen which lifts at the end of the hand. The voice/video then appears automatically, but only if enabled in the user account. The TD would not have to be involved.

It is fantastic that BBO have implemented web version of swiss teams. One small query - the new html version uses the same VP scales as the old Flash one as defined here https://bridge.silvertexter.eu/results/Virtual/ACBL-6.pdf. They are fixed for 6 boards per match and are used even when boards per match are different to 6. Would it be possible to replace these with WBF discrete (or continuous) scales, appropriate to the actual number of boards per match?
