As a dealer I got the following difficult hand: S: AJ H: x D: Ax C: xxxxxxxx At first glance it looked to be a weak hand, but actually it has 2 quick tricks, and 6 potential tricks in clubs, if club is the trump. As I do not mix preemptives with aces, I desided to open 1C, and rebid 2C and 3C. My partner reacted that I had to pass my hand. I still do not agree with him, as what I need from him for a game of 5C may be 10 points(the ace of harts, and the two kings of spades and diamonds). I am very interested in other opinons. Haim
