  1. I will bid. Yes, it's dangerous, but I'll rather lose from non-bidding. Maybe I'll have hesitation only if vulnerability are red vs green. The suit is too good to be passed along with these side values. Vs 1H opening and if we are in green I can bid 1nt as well.

  3. @Bbradley62 Yeah, 2nt seems better to me too. Maybe 3♣ is a kind of a fragment bid. @chasetb No, I don't want a refund. :) I'm just reporting a bug. Later today I learned how to report bugs from the web version. A really useful function. :)
  4. ruffed low a diamond in obvious situation ... cost me about $10 :D http://tinyurl.com/633eytk

  6. (underlining mine) Well I'm sorry it still looks like you're wondering how the program works and that you got the impression that GIB doesn't trust you. It was supposed to be rhetoric. It should be "?!" at the end instead of "?" - my bad, sorry.
  7. I'm getting very excited when some is teaching me how to play: This one is great: And the thing I like most is when someone explain me what I tried to do/say: It's GIB bridge for money, not a social or competitive bridge with humans. The hand is opening one, but it doesn't worth much to score +110 or something like this. After opp's opening the double is take-out which means 3+ cards in other suits and maximum passed hand (8-11). I'm not sure how GIB understands it, but it should be something like this. After that the both pairs have established some balance - 2He is competitive bid, not a bid which intends to bid a game. So after we have established some balance DBLs are action/co-operative and at higher levels they should be penalty. I'm posting here not because I want you to tell me what I should bid, not because I want pity. I understand that there was no definition for my DBL at 4S and GIB doesn't get it as penalty. I'm simply posting this, because some of the developers may read it and may implement this situation "telling" GIB that this double is penalty. As I get it, the GIB thread is for reporting bugs and stuff like this. So, please, let's not teach each other how to play bridge, there are enough threads around about asking questions and giving advices. Greetings, Stefan
  8. No vul. me Rob1 Rob2 Rob3 Pass pass pass 1Cl DBL 1Sp 2He Pass Pass 2Sp 3He Pass Pass 3Sp 4He Pass Pass 4Sp Pass Pass DBL Pass 5H Pass ... /Down 2 I wonder how the program works and what they think about partner's and opp's hands and who they believe more - their p or their opps? My hand: AQ9x K10x 10xx Kxx Rob1: K10xxx x A9xxx xx Rob2: J QJ9xxx QJ Q109x Rob 3: xxx Axx Kxx AJxx
  9. Very nice game, tnx for organizing it. Congrats to mich-b! :)
  10. Robby holds: K10xx --- QJx AKJxxx 2H by opp1, 2S by Robby ...
  11. I have seen GIB to raise slams bidden after jump pretty often, which in general is wrong. A few minutes ago GIB raised to grand even after I asked for keycards. GIB holds: Qxxx Kxx K109xxx --- The bidding goes: 2H by opp1, pass by him, 3H by opp2, 3S by me pass, 4S, pass, 4NT, pass, 5nt*, pass, 6S, pass, 7S, all pass 5nt*=any void, even number of KC It's pretty understandable to bid grand if he had two keycards, but having zero it makes it a 100% pass on 6S.
  12. 61) 2 (1:4) 62) 2 (2:2) I will get 509 euro from just 1 if this results happen, cross fingers! :)
