  1. My preference is to keep something from the old version: 1. Who's online tab to be on top of the left strip i.e. above News Feed. 2. Vugraph tab to be colored in yellow once open tables available there. Overall, the new version is structured more user-friendly.
  2. I would start with a low club for a finesse by ♣Q. 1) Should it make, then ♥A to catch eventual stiff honour in West. If this is not the case, ♥5 letting opponents taking the trick. Now 3-3 hearths or ♣Kx can both be tried. 2) Provided ♣K wins trick 2, ♥A and ♣A will follow to check for stiff ♥ honour or ♣Tx with West, and then all diamonds to count West hand and squeeze East in ♣-♥. Odds seem quite high, the final guess in both scenarios shall also consider ♣Txx or ♥Qx with West.
  3. http://tinyurl.com/l28wfhl - A quite informative first round of bids and still - what rebid? Chances for a game seem a bit scarce after pd's pass. On second thought, bidding 2D appears not well justified (doesn't show strength limit, 4 cards only), DBL - as if more suitable (Axx hearts, however I was sort of not willing to play 2Cx with my holdings, despite favourable vuln), the six semi-solid spades are deserving at least a single raise. In conclusion, the score -7.8 IMP was well below BBO-average - not sure making game is a real benchmark, though. What continuation would you suggest?

  5. Hi, http://tinyurl.com/lnftnqb - E-W first-time pair playing SAYC. The bidding came short even of a slam try. Sitting E and being uncertain about pd's limit after 2S – F1 or FG, I was mainly concerned with reaching the (best) game. How would you bid and play, please?
  6. http://tinyurl.com/k3dqswa - Matchpoints, all play SAYC, you are vuln. What would you do as W in balancing seat?
