seems like there have been changes made to the profiles on android as of tonight and the useful "join" option is missing. please put it back.

thank you. i knew for a fact that i did have voice on my phone and tablet before. i look forward to it coming back (soon?) .

in the win program we are (were) able to follow a player in a tourney. would be nice to be able to do the same in the new program.

lately i no longer have voice commenting on my mobile phone and on my tablet; both android and both did have it earlier

am i really the only one who plays transfers over opps 1 NT overcall? bid 2 !h for !s and then raise to 3 if you like. double would be penalty. and how to show symbols here ???

more staccato tonight, cannot understand the voice commentators at all. cache cleared computer restarted Ping 26ms Jitter 1ms i repeat: if i open the settings box in the bbo web program the staccato stops and i can hear them perfectly well. i just cannot see anymore what is going on then...

sound was fine on voice commenting all weekend which is just as well since i was commenting, but when i logged on just now ( Sunday evening) i got the staccato again. tried changing browser ( from FF to IE) but same result. a few hours ago it was fine and had been so for days and all of a sudden ...weird! when i open the settings box the voice is fine, but watching a match with a settings box open in the middle of the screen and muted colours is not ideal. btw that is so on both browsers. i also tried logging on as visitor, same result. i have changed nothing since i last logged on. as a matter of fact the laptop was not even turned off. so i say no, it is not a slight change on my computer. certainly not!

hi Roland, the last session of the world mind games is coming up and your last as VG coordinator, so i wanted to say: thank you for all you have done these many years to make VG into what it is and thank you for bringing me into it as well. you have done an amazing job and VG would certainly not be the same without you bye for now :) Hedy

for what its worth my connection is excellent . as for Ethel and i assume all others voice used to be just fine. something must have changed and it is neither my connection nor my laptop

there are no voice VG broadcasts for the time being so we will have to wait and see if we get any posts next time. btw no good using voice to ask people to report since those who have problems will not be listening to voice, being unable to follow anyhow.

hi Uday, thanks for your reply. i am a technical zero so all i can say is: this happens on FF(my default browser), not on IE . it happens on 2 different laptops and in Geneva as well as in Vienna. it is annoying and i have done my best following Georgi's instructions but the problem persists. ( i really dislike IE). yesterday during the VG from the Spingold it appears specs complained to Roland about the "stuttering" so it seems wider spread than it appeared. it is good to know at last that i am not alone ;)

when i log in to the web program on firefox and go to listen to voice commentary the sound is chopped into little bits and i cannot understand anything. on IE i do not have this problem. i have checked this on 2 different laptops and in 2 different countries with the same result also since a while now when commenting the other commentators as well as i get lags during speech, i.e. we are cut off , the red conversation line disappears as well, and then after a few seconds the sentence continues as if nothing had happened. this is very annoying when commenting since we cannot tell when the other commentator is talking or not and are interrupting each other. i have been waiting to see other users write about this and am really surprised that they have not. is there a solution to this problem? and i would really prefer to use firefox for commenting. yes i have been in touch with Diana_Eva and Georgi, i have cleared out my cache, updated flash, uninstalled and reinstalled firefox....

i just watched the transnational and would like to say " THANK YOU!", the names are back in movie :)

in the new web program you can not tell that somebody you have been chatting to or reading the comments of has left the site. on the win program the persons name instantly turns red when he leaves and i think that is good . any reason not to keep that feature in the web program?

on the web program when watching vugraph i have noticed that the players names have disappeared from movie.please put them back! on the win program it is easy to see who is playing at other tables on vugraph without looking at movie but on the web program it seems to be much more complicated and it would really help to see the names, especially for commentators. also when commenting earlier today the profile of the operator for our table showed as one name for me and as a different name for the other commentators. i arrived earlier and possibly the name was changed after i arrived but not for me and it is embarrassing to thank the wrong person for a job well done.

hi Fred, so again today i was kib at a team game when i received an invitation to play in the main club ( this is on the win program and has happened a few times since i last wrote). as usual when i accepted i froze and eventually i got a small rectangle saying: netbridgevue has encountered a problem and has to close down. sorry for the inconvenience. and then BBO closed down . my friends say it happens to them as well all the time and they have stopped accepting the invitations for that reason.i guess that is one way of solving the problem but surely not the ideal way. i don't know if this happens if i am in lobby or kib at a table in the main club as well. i usually try to watch a good team game when i am not playing myself except if i can watch a great like Garozzo in which case i would not accept an invitation anyhow. i hope this info is helpful! regards Hedy

on the win program since the new feature for invitations (very nice btw) has arrived i have experienced problems when accepting an invitation to play in the main club. first everything freezes and then i get a message that the program has had to close down.friends who have been at the table say it happens to them as well.a bug?

ok so i didn't get any answers...........but everything is miraculously back to normal again anyhow :)

when watching team games if a board had already been played at the other table as spec i was able to see the bidding and result somewhere on the upper left of my BBO screen. that has now disappeared and it appears that the other specs can still see it while i have to go digging into movie. for what its worth i am on the good old win version of BBO , classic version. can anybody help me please to get things back to the way they were?
