My father and I have followed each other on BBO for years, and I used to always see his results from the daylongs when I look at mine. Yesterday I realized we can't see each other anymore, and this has been going on for months. I checked on his phone, and I don't show up in his followed users anymore. I tried to readd myself to his friends list, but when I search for my username on his phone, it doesn't find me. How can he re-follow me?

Is there no Just Declare daylong today?

BBOAlert looks nice, but I always play in the Android app.

Now that the alerting rules have changed, a lot more players need to make pre-alerts when sitting down at a new table. It's hard to remember to enter the pre-alerts into chat every time, and you can't always tell if you have - sometimes the last message in chat is your alert from the previous round. It would be great to be able to enter a free-form string into the convention card that would be automatically sent in chat at the beginning of each round.

There doesn't appear to be a Just Declare daylong tournament today. Is that on purpose?

I'm trying to play daylong tournaments, and when I go to play, I get a blank green table, but no cards. It sits there for a while, and then kicks me out with "An error has occurred. Table closing."

This morning I went to sign up for the Just Declare Daylong, and the price was $0.59, which I thought was weird, but I went ahead and signed up. The tournament didn't show up as registered (which happens sometimes), so I left the screen and came back (this is in the Android app). The tournament didn't show as registered (which, again, happens fairly often), but it also showed a price of $1.35. I left and came back to see it was listed as $0.39, which is what I expected, and when I tried to register I got error 23000(?), which means I already signed up. Every time I reload the screen I see different prices. I checked my BB$ history, and it looks like it charged me the correct $0.39 even though it said $0.59 at the time I registered, but still kind of unnerving :)

It's kind of weird - it looks like it's remembering which set of problems I was on okay, but not which have been solved.

I'm using the Android app, so the problem must be that it isn't maintaining local storage correctly.

I just had this problem - I went in yesterday and found that my progress (from a year ago) had disappeared. I played a few hands, and this morning it's all wiped out again.

I've played the Just Declare and MP 1 daylongs today, but they're not disappearing from my pending list - they're still sitting there with a green circle. If I try to enter them, it says the tournament is over and gives me the normal end message. They've been sitting there like that for over an hour. I'm also partway through the IMP daylong, and I see what might be a clue. If I enter the game and look at History, I only see results for hands 1, 3, and 5 right now. It looks like I didn't play hands 2 and 4 (although I did).

Each time I try to log in today, it takes 20-30 seconds. Is something up with the servers? Is the online NABC more popular than expected, maybe? :)

Ah, I see. It's because nobody else had played those hands yet.

I just played the Daylong MP C tournament, and when I got the preliminary results, it only listed hands 2 and 4-7. Does that mean something went wrong? Can my amazing round be rescued?

When I try to look at monthly/yearly leaderboards in the android app, the app freezes. That's with version 5.0.9.

I've been competing for the leaderboards lately, and am often on the edge of being on the leaderboard, so I would like to know how close I am. Is there a way to see how many points I've accrued this month/year? The current web version has it on the leaderboard pages, but I can't find a way to get that number in the mobile and new HTML versions. Also, it would be great if my name was highlighted on the leaderboard - it would make it much easier to find myself.

Ah, I see - in the web version it is displayed at the top. My name isn't highlighted, but knowing the number of points makes it easy to find. In the mobile version and the new web version, that display is gone. Sometimes it does highlight one of the players on the list, but it's never been me, so maybe it's trying to but there's a bug?

Lately I've been trying to stay on the monthly BBO points leaderboards, which is a lot of fun. I'm just on the edge of it most of the time, and when I'm not on the list, I would like to be able to know how far off I am. Is there a way to see my monthly total? It would also be nice if my own name was highlighted on the leaderboard so that it would be easier to find. The same goes for annual totals. Starting in January I'll be fighting for that leaderboard, too :)

I haven't been able to sign in for the last couple of hours. I'm using the Android app, and it says version 5.0.9. it gets stuck at Connecting. Please wait... Play anonymously works, so I don't think it's related to my connection.

I'm in the middle of an IMPS challenge right, now, and trying to bid 5H. Every time I try, I get this error message: "An error has occurred. Table closing. Actions array empty. Expecting bid/play." This is on Android. I tried several times, even after restarting the app. Switching to the browser on my PC got me past it.

I do have it set to advance trick by trick, but it animates the cards pretty slowly when displaying the trick. If I have General -> Animation turned off, it would be nice if it turned off this animation too.

Great job on the update! I know how hard it is to completely rewrite something and keep it looking almost exactly the same. Two minor issues are bugging me: 1. When I tap a card to play it, the app is too sensitive to dragging. If my finger moves by a pixel or two while tapping, then the card isn't played. 2. In the history screen, when I'm playing through the history of the hand, I can't go fast - each card is played slowly, one at a time. If I've turned off animation for cards in the settings, it would be nice if that eliminated this delay too.
