Hi all. I've recently started playing Fantunes (using Bill Jacobs' book as a guide, natch) and have kindof fallen in love with it. Sadly, one doesn't get to use much of the system in most sessions. In 5 or 6 sessions so far, I've had 1M-2M, and 1♣-1♦-1♥ each come up exactly one time only. The best way to get more practice with it I feel is to let BBO generate the cards at a bidding table. Anyone interested in practicing with me? I'm also willing to take a modified-to-be-GCC-compliant version into speedball games. (No 4441 shaped 1NT openers. 1♣ openings show a minimum of 15 pts, even when unbalanced)

I'm surprised that can't be done as an adjustment after the fact. They can adjust unplayed hands, so I'm going to guess this was TD error. Even if it isn't implemented such that the other opponent can object to the claim, it has to be adjustable if and when the laws require an adjustment. Software implements the rules, it doesn't determine them. And that's not just in Bridge. Many people forget that when they are told the computers are down, or "the system won't me" do something.

My understanding is that it's based on Adobe Air so I'd guess it could support the new blackberry devices pretty easily. http://developer.blackberry.com/air/ -Joe
