  1. Count me in. The problem here is not that Maurenn can't play, but that she's not allowed to play with her mentor. This rule is IMHO stupid, because Shep's tournament is NOT a tournament :). It is a help for Shep's "students" to practice the hands before the lesson, so that they can compare what they played with what Shep would play. And the fun of a non serious competition. If people want to play in tourneys within the BIL, they can play Mink's Friday pairs tournament or join the BIL Team League. I'm convinced that if you asked every single BIL member, a great majority would find this rule absurd :) Mathias
  2. Hello everyone Is there a way to replay saved hands (.LIN) like the "Deal of the Week", i.e. playing the four hands anyway you like. I know you can with the Deep Finesse software, but I wasn't able to find a way within the BBO software. Thank you very much for your help Mathias (Thumpermat)
  3. Thank you Fred. Exactly what I needed :) Mathias
  4. Hello everyone With the following hand, what would you open in SAYC ? [hv=d=s&s=sqxxxxhajxdkqxcax]133|100|[/hv] Should I open 1♠ because of 5 cards (weakish) or 1NT because of 15-17 HCP, balanced hands and at least 3 stoppers ? And I apologise in advance if this question is too trivial :) Mathias
  5. Hi Uday, Hi Fred, Hi all First of all, great software and I think the improvements are welcome by many users. The lillte "glitch" I experience is as follows : the BBO window stretches to the full screen width and therefore the "Bridge table" doesn't look square anymore but rectangular. :( On my laptop computer, I found a function "Screen adjustment" (freely translated from the German XP) and when I disactivate this function it looks alright again :) , but on my desktop computer, I can't find this function (because probably of different graphic cards and drivers). :) So any help here would be appreciated. Thank you in advance. Mathias
