  1. As can be seen by the wide variety of votes and huge distribution, the best option is to offer many tournaments of different lengths. BBO already does a good job of this.
  2. How does the random generator BBO uses work? If it uses information from the CPU clock cycle (of the host or one of the other players), there may be a side effect such as users with CPU's that have longer clock cycles seeing more random hands. I personally haven't experienced this, but I haven't been playing as often as I used to, and I am also on a very fast computer.
  3. I think the best option would be to allow customization of how the cards look. Scan symbols off a set of cards for the visually impaired (The large characters with clearly named cards and large suit symbols). This would allow anyone with poor eyesight who needs it to use cards that are significantly easier to read. The major problem with this is that the hand would need to appear more spread out, but I'm sure something could be done. As for suit symbols for the rest of us, I like Green, Orange, Red, Blue although I think the blue should be closer to black for the spade. The orange should perhaps be slightly darker but still clearly orange and not red. The club should remain a reasonably dark green. But this is just my opinion, comments are welcome.
  4. My general feeling in these situations is to reject all claims of this nature outright. If the opponent is unethical enough to finesse the 10C based on the rejection of the claim they lose more often than they win.
