yesterday by whatever went trough td's head , who had to leave- i said i'll replace him directing stars( god help me and the rest)......i imediatelly called for 2 tds who are much better then me , for reinforcement, they kindly accepted. in the process of typing their names in i changed the name of tourney ( will not tell into what.) do i have to imigrate¿ barbara

hi richard, i have to say, that i think every td knows how many tables can handle single handed.it comes with practice and if new td screams for help we are always around to help out. personally i m never in tourney alone, because i do not trust my spanish server to much. i think bridge is a GAME and to many rules will spoil it.why are we talking all the time of just rules for everything, will we soon need a rule, when to breathe¿ i wonder what would you say to tourney which announces:"everything is permitted, if alerted and explained in english, except being rude." come join one day, maybe you will see another side of bridge. i can even make you codirector...usually 2 of us handle 50 tables, but will not give more then 10 to you-on my scouts honour love barbara

hi all, im sorry experts but, i support gweny. i think reading about td and doing it in practice are two different things. to xxxxx [ ui] : i would like one of these experts as codirector, probably would happen the same, as to player, who complained to me too much and i made him codirector...after 30 minutes he was out and never ever complained again. and to just assume tds are not prepared of learning, where the hell did you find that out¿ ask borko , ask uday, marc, gweny, mirjam and more and more how a lot of us including me asked and pestied them to come to knowledge we/ i have now.... not wanting to learn, that is absurd statement. ask all people i trained how much we looked at , talked about it, worked together..... im sure that you do not want "to spend your precious time with teaching these individuals".....[snipped - ui] i agree with statments: if i direct tourney, its my rules and i'm the boss...you do not like it, play another one. but i also agree that td should be trained in differrent tourneys, before they are approved to become tds.and a recomendation of td, that has experience should be added. and to marc:well i do miss you, without your help on my computer and being there for me when i was totaly blondie stupid i would never make it. have good whatever you are having marcmy friend with whom : we agreed to disagree. love to all blackbikini/barbara

and sory i forgot to add, yes i do direct sometimes tounaments in my local spanish bridge club and can get a certificate im a td, but still it would never cross my mind to go and be td in word class or stars tourney sorry, just forgetful dumb blondie

dear all, i have read what you said and im completely lost. from september last year, im more or less directing 1 tounrey every day. i never had an enemy list, never had problems with a player( if i did, i reported to uday or gweny and they put them in bbase jail). yes, i had problems with my time slot, but somehow i was able to keep it . sorry guys ,never read your brige rules and i say "alert bluffs if you know how". if i make a mistake and player tells me i did it, i appologize, they know i did not make it on purpuse. i try to improve myself with help of other td and uday(im not very computer literate). but you know what...tourney was never empty..we had stars and begginers playign together and they had fun(or pretended to have it). we are having impossible hands(12..1;1o.1.1;distr) at least once a week and it was always full. i think there is bridge and bridge. and there is one recepie for all......have more humor..it shoud be fun for you, if you want it to be fun for players. its only a game..its not a life...and if its a life, then that for me is sad, very sad. sorry to interupt your academic discussion.....have fun and big kisssssssss all barbara/blackbikini p.s. i would love to see any of you in belly dancing, would be honour and pleasure

deall all, im strongly opposed to sharing enemy list. 1. for "serious" abuse there is abuse@bbase 2.for minor abuse player can be be put on personal enemy list reasons: ad1) for swearing, insulting and bidding 7ntxx with 6 points uday bans player ,withing few minutes or under 12 h.when player is allowed to come back, there is no reason for td to over rule his decision. at least give player a chance, to see, if he has changed his manners. if you do not let him in again, you can not know. to me happened, that player came back, appologized and i never had a problem with him again. ad2)i warn player and put him on enemy list and tell him for how long.after that he can came back and we see what happenes. that is all, big kisssssss barbara

:) i have -stupidly- decided to enter belly dancing as a player, to see how long it takes and how it's run by new td. new td and codirectors have turned off the chat to tounrey, so i could not say back a word¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡the biggest torture in my life. :( after tourney i posted in lobby"all td of belly dancing to chat room, we will talk of freedom of speach"...im not telling you who turned up. ;)

:( my bridge goodness me, that was a surprise, never imagined to be mentioned here. thank you very much all. well was fun and we grew from 40 to +400 players.somehow i proved to everybody who doubted, there is place for sociable, fun bridge tourneys on the net. there are many names i should metinoned who helped me out, td that were there for me, people, who helped me with my knowledge of computer ( close to =0) and so on. but i will stay on, help out ,if necessary and maybe in future started something small again. what is more importan then anything is, i met friends on bbasse and meeting them slowly in life - the 5th meeting coming up. that is my reward to me -to know and meet all of you. thank you, big kissssssssssss and see you a round love to all barbar/blackTRASPARENTbikini

hi all i came to bbase after 4 years playing in yahoo.i remeber well, once we all got the same id (incognoto1...2......and so on), it was great fun, and we loved it ,but when they have done it for 4 th time we got fed up with it. i think we all find in indy people we do not know, or normaly not play with, we make friends, as every second round it's a new player. with all wininng and trying to win it's nice that some players play, to meet people also, to make friends and later meet them in real life. i would hate to direct incognitos. players do report rude p/opps, but if you are not at the table it's hard to make a decision, what was said. if all players would have filled the description of the play, it easier, usually playr wsays, my profile pls...and that solves the problem. but i'm just dumb blondie. love barbara

hi all lovers and babes, after a lot of effort and help,( thy marc) i entered this forum and i can write in it.....poor you, here i come in full force. i think new td should codirect few tournaments and then ask bbase for approval as td.bbase could ask who trained the player and ask "mentor" , if player is ready to become director. i was personally trained by borko and dittny and when i applied to become td i stated that in my application. love to all barbara/blackbikini
