Today I was playing a casual game. I can understand that because I'm playing for free that BBO may want to get some income from ads. However I found the great majority of ads were inappropriate: mostly scantily clad women; some women's lingerie etc etc. I do not find this on other games sites and feel it is totally inappropriate for BBO.

Yesterday when playing something very disconcerting happened. I was dummy and partner was playing a hand. My LHO made a first discard of 9C. I wondered what this meant so looked at the opps convention card. It showed that they played standard. However as play proceeded it turned out that LHO did not have any significant clubs. After the hand I asked about the discard of the 9C and was told it was upside down. In fact opponent didn't know anything about BBO convention cards. I would prefer if, in ACBL tournaments, BBO does not post a convention card unless it is to be played with that specific partner. This would be much fairer than posting an erroneous convention card.

A month or two ago a new page appeared when I logged in. Now I have 2 problems: 1. I press F11 for full screen, and get a full screen. And up pops the login menu. But when I login in I do not have full screen. I have the Cortina thing in the bottom left and no where to chat. 2. The font size is abysmal. This looks like a size 4 font and so does the menu of options when I login in : casual, tournaments etc. Anyone have any ideas what I should do?

I have been using BBO woth Firefox for the past year or so. In the past few days a new phenomena occurs - only on BBO. I get into a game, bid and then suddenly freeze. My mouse will not move. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Cheers
