  2. I bid the rather obvious (?) 1♦. GIB bids
  3. GIB passed, which turned out to be correct opposite what I had. I don't remember exactly what it was, but it was similar to ♠AKx ♥Axx ♦AQJxx ♣xx
  4. [hv=pc=n&n=sqj75hqj65dtck542&d=e&v=n&b=2&a=p1dp1h2cdp]133|200[/hv] What is your bid here?
  5. [hv=pc=n&s=sakqj54hakqj543dc&w=s3ht98762dct98762&n=shdakqj432cakqj53&e=st98762hdt98765c4&d=n&v=0&b=1&a=6nppp]399|300[/hv] 40 HCP as mentioned as being possible in the OP
  6. After that auction, I don't think they're leading an ace
  7. ...is definitely NOT this. http://tinyurl.com/p84uymw Particularly trick 3. Unfortunately, after this blunder, I did not find the squeeze in the pointy suits.
  8. http://tinyurl.com/q35fnwz GIB keeps correcting to spades despite there being a better fit in clubs. Also, I thought with a weak hand, GIB was supposed to go through 2NT after the reverse, or is that just one of the things on my wish list?
  9. You hold, in 4th seat, all vulnerable, ♠AQJT86 ♥Q73 ♦A7 ♣T6 And the auction goes (1♥) - 2NT - P - to you. What do you bid?
  10. The only lead to beat it is a diamond because it removes an entry to ruff a club without giving up a trick.
  11. I agreed with this, but then I looked through a random game I played back in August and there was only one par result in 24 hands. A lot of the variants were someone messing up the bidding (not finding game/slam) or finding the wrong lead.
  12. clear 2♠ opening if you are with a partner that you play with semi-regularly, otherwise I probably would anyway.
  13. I am extremely surprised to note that GIB
  14. Honestly I prefer mEShpLaYEr  If you click 'forgot password' on the login screen, you can reset from there.
  15. According to a few simulations I did, east passes.
  16. Double is a wtp for me. Decent (admittedly balanced) 14 count with 3+ card support for all of the suits. Pass of the XX is ok because your diamonds are headed by the 7 1♠ is wtp unless you think you're going down 6 doubled and/or your partner has 2-5-3-3 The only call I disagree with is XX :o
  17. Oh yeah, I forgot the ♥K was an entry for a squeeze <_<
  18. win ♣A, king of hearts dropping the jack, ruff a heart dropping the queen, ♦KA, pitch a spade or club on a heart? King of clubs is obviously offsides so we can't establish a spade in time, and our spade loser is fast so we can't establish a club either. Looks like a club lead always kills it though.
  19. 4♠ Please tell me why this is wrong
  20. 2♠. Your values aren't good enough to invite outright and you should "correct" to the 5-2 fit. 2♥ isn't terrible but it's likely to get you into the wrong strain. Pass could work out too.
  21. seems like partner has something like 3-4-4-2 or similar. I pass.
