  1. I have multiple issues with typed text and the bidding menu in BBO - When I login in neither my id nor password show up as they are typed. They only show up if I click the field after I finish typing - Same issue with main Chat and private chats - Alert messages and bidding explanations only show up if I click several times. - In the bidding box, when I click the number for the level of my bid, to do not see the suits, I must click under or beside the box to make them visible This all started in the last two months or so. I am using Windows 10 and Firefox. Two of the computers are only a month old. I did not previously have this problem with the third computer, but now I do. Flash is up to date. HELP!!!!!! Michaelpag
  2. Hi, Still nothing from BridgeBase, nothing in the spam folder. How do I check what email I gave you? If the email address is attached to my login in name, then it should be correct because I have previously received emails from BridgeBase. Thank you. Michael
  3. Hi Jackie, Much thanks for your reply. I have not received a "reply to the ticket" as of 10:03 p.m. tonight. This is consistent with my other experiences (not related to Bridge Base)in trying to contact anyone at the ACBL. Michael
  4. My partner and I played in ACBL game #5854 today. Before board 3 was shown to us, one of our partner "disappeared", apparently he/she had electricity and connection problems. Sometime later in the tourny, we received a message from the director that on board 3, our opponents were given credit for making 3 clubs. I protested that we never played the hand. The director insisted it was started. I just reviewed the hand on line. Our bidding makes absolutely No sense. We were East/West. I would never open my hand with a 2 heart bid and my partner with never pass with her hand. I don't know what happened, but we did not play any part of this hand. How do I protest? Michael P. 5. I'd be very interested in any suggestions for books or other printed reference materials concerning duplicate bridge laws, primarily for ACBL games. The only book I've found is Laws of Duplicate Bridge Through the Eyes of the Player (Harris), which is a nice try desperately needs the help of an editor. Thanks. Michael P. Miller
  6. This is probably not the place to raise this issue, but why is the GIB convention card so relatively complex? The system is much more complex than I have ever encountered in a IN game at national tournaments or among the average players at open games in various clubs around New York. It certainly discourages me from us the robots to practice and improve. Michael P. Miller
