Sure I understand that but also in 18 months they've created something which is nowhere near as higher quality as the flash client. I don't think the problem was lack of feedback, the interface is unbelievably bad in comparison on widescreen it's clear to anyone. It just lacked the necessary resources put into it (which isn't even that much). The "oh I don't want to learn something new" argument I'm normally on board with but in this case I don't think it makes sense. You want people to switch to something that's clearly worse - people are clearly going to keep on using the better client as long as possible. I'm extremely thankful to BBO for a great product they've developed and the incredible amount of enjoyment I've had over the years but I don't understand why there's all of a sudden such a massive drop off in standard. There are other low budget sites that are extremely slick e.g. Lichess.org You don't have to spend that much money to get a well functioning good looking website

Been playing on BBO for around 12 years and recently switched from flash client (having played on the old DL client before that) to the latest windows browser version. I really don't find it visually appealing at all in the play and I'd rather go back to either of the two older clients. What I dislike the most about it is why there's so much black space on my screen. When I'm playing with the side bar minimised I'd say at least a 1/3 of my screen is just black space which is a waste and looks terrible. This wasn't an issue in the old client, would be great to know why there's all this black space and why the playing area can't fit the screen of the user or at least have back. Or is it just me that has a ton of black space?

For me you just have to get KC ask in early, by bidding would simply go: 1♠-5♣(exclusion)-5♠(2KC (exc.A♣) no Q)-7♥-P I don't think partner has any reason to correct to 7♠
