  1. (and yes, PPs should preferably be listed on the final ranking)
  2. Lusobrasil here (telecine was the old nickname). PP on a pairs event are assigned to the pair. On an individual event they can be assigned to a player or a pair (so best in programming terms is to have the possibility to assign the penalties on an individual event to any of the four players, on a pairs event to any of the two pairs). No limit, maybe the software can by default suggest -10% of the top on matchpoint scored events, -3 imps on teams events. Note that "penalties" should also cover compensations - and this should mean no extra programming effort. It is possible that a TD may want to give on top of a result adjusted at a table, + something to some, - something to others. And by the way, please please, an option for a TD to see the frequencies on a board during the tournament...
  3. of course, but we are dealing with a case where you didnt, and how it is dealt with(without unduly benefiting the other pair). Claims (or any irregularities) should not be used as a means to profit without merit (as a general principle; I don´t want to start arguing about revokes and such).
  4. WISH (2) - A way to adjust a score for a pair (or a player in an individual), and not for the opponents (for example, to be able to substract 10% of a top for "bad manners"). Or to adjust against a pair that reached a superior contract through U.I., and not in favour of opponents who took a wild and gambling action after that.
  5. ANOTHER WISH: Instead of a pop window for every call, have a dinamic window where all pending calls are stated. Sometimes two or three players from the same table call the TD and it gets a little annoying (adds to the pressure).
  6. Cascade is right on the last post. The claimer is not allowed to play one specific opponent for a given card without a (very) strong reason from the bidding and play, caliber of the player being taken into account. If the Q is dropping the claimer finesses, if the finesse is on the claimer plays for the drop; In a two-way finesse if the Q is in East the claimer plays through West, and vice-versa. In the first case, without the bidding, and the level of players, dont be too hasty on saying "One trick to North"... One thing I´ve learned in a number of occasions, is that when somethjing is missing from the story, it is the most relevant part generally... Rui Marques (Portugal)
  7. OK, one from last BBO UNIBRIDGE, Wednesday: One of my helpers, while I was in a peak of work, saw an offline player with 12 cards played and subbed him. The substitute was LeggyGodiv, and she beats a world record for sure, because the substitution was in the last card of the LAST board! Telecine (Rui Marques)
  8. By the way, HOW TO upload deals to play predealt boards?
