Hi, sry but i really cant see what ur opps did wrong. from souths pint of view : p open 2♦ this is a indy so i asume its natural weak hand whit ♦ so i bid 3♦, now p bid 3♠? well god know what hes doing now lucky rho dbl so i can pass and let him "do hes thing". now he XX? ah well hes polish and a little crazy it seems but this cant be for take out. ill let him play here:)) and north: this is a indy but i only know one system and whit this hand we open 2♦:( lho dbl and p bid 3 ♦?well he have some cards and ask me to pick best major. i bid 3♠, now rho dbl and p pass? well i have good cards and p have some supp i go for the money and xx. all pass. who did wrong here? but your p did a mistakes imho he had the information to avoid this score/lead:)) kenneth

Hi all I Had a puzzling experience the other day at my local club and wonder what you think abouth this. we were playing a 30 boards turney, and opps were "friends from the local club" last deal of 3 agains this pair my p open 4 ♠ and all passed. and when there is 5 cards left p is in DUmmy and play the 8 of club. [hv=n=s10hdxxc862&w=shdxxxxc4&e=shdxck1075&s=sxhdcaqj9]399|300|[/hv] opps follow whit the 10 p play the Q and lho the 4. now p sit for a minnutt and think berfore he say: "uff i whish i had one more entry to the dummy" opps laugh and and p think for 15-20 more sec before he say: "AH well, small club" i took the card from dummy and rho play small p the jack and lho a d, now p play spade to dummy and take the club finness one more time.12 tricks .and a 100%score-. when we got to the smoke room my p sayd: Did u see that? yes i sayd, you were on your hand when u played a card from dummy! yes he sayd. he was just trying to make a joke when he called for the club from dummy, since everyone (after the "whis i had one more entry") know hes not in dummy. But when both opps followed whitout a word he dint tell them it was a joke but played as nothing irregular had happend. this episode bothered me a bit, isnt this same as cheating? i had really bad concens afterwors and felt i had to tell my opps whhat my p did. (i did and they just laughted, they are friends of my p) And they dint have a clue before i told them what happend. so my question is: is this cheating? are there any rules abouth this ? kenneth

i would play ♣, ruff hart return and more ♣, if they play more ♥ i ruff play ♦to Q and and ace ruff a ♦ and ruff a club whit the 7 if possible. this way i try to get a tromp coop

In my systemcard i write "to play" on 4M openings. this dont mean that p have to pass 100% of the time but rather pass whit a normal hand. And agree whit the posters saying "to play" is a bad explination and that "non-forcing" or "natural is better terms:) kenneth

Arrows when u playin TURNEYS on, or off line you have to alert and explain your bids properly, if you cant do that i suggest you DONT play in turneys. And that this happend in aba i find a bit strange, isnt abaluky a club for more experienced players??? kenneth

well.... since no alert was made i assume that opps play a natural system, where 1♥(and bidding ♠next rund show min 4-4. SO east is free to bid however he like as long as its not a part of there system! But if they play a system where the 1♥bidder could have a loonger ♠they should ALERT.
