  1. The previous BBO version showed the piles of tricks taken. I miss that so much! Also, when someone claims, the claim message box covers up the tricks taken, which I like to refer to. Please bring back the piles! Thanks!
  2. I was referring to south's view, not dummy's.
  3. 1. Always have the trumps placed on dummy’s left. This is standard procedure in bridge. Last night, sitting south, when west was dummy, the trumps were at the top of the screen (right side of dummy), not the bottom (left side of dummy). This is very misleading to south!! I think it only happens when dummy is sitting to a player’s left. This was not a problem in the old version. 2. Please, please make it a top priority to give members the WONDERFUL option of changing the card size to “Narrow,” as it was in the older BBO version. The cards on the new site are too fat and too big and chunky, and they take up way too much space on the table. It makes it very hard to glance at the cards when they don’t look like cards. PLEASE make that option available on your new site as soon as possible.
  4. The new version showing followers, etc., is not showing up at all on my screens. I see nothing new at all. I have logged in several times and nothing is different.
  5. Please consider moving the position of the pop-up of the last trick played into a more neutral space so that when you click the stack to review the last trick played, it does not cover up the RHO's hand. This happens when the RHO is dummy, and it is irritating to not be able to see the dummy's cards while also looking at the last trick played. If you would just move the position of the last trick played down an inch or so, the player can view both. Thanks.
  6. Hi, Would you ask your software people to try to move the position of the pop-up of the last trick played into a more neutral space so that when you are playing and you click the stack to review the last trick played, the trick does not block the RHO's hand. This only occurs when one's RHO is dummy, but it is very bothersome to not be able to see the dummy while looking at the last trick played. Just moving the pop-up position down a little bit would work and that would be so wonderful. Thanks.
  7. Hi. I just played in a robot tournament and I want to complain about the robots' bidding. This is not the first time I have been on the receiving end of some really wacky bidding by a robot on BBO in a tournament, but I felt compelled to say something to you after my experience in the tournament this afternoon. Today, I bid 2D over the opponent's opening 1D bid. The robot then bid a S [holding the 752 of Ss only]. I went to 4Ss, holding AJ986. Then, the robot took me to Blackwood and then slam [6Ss]. I was astounded to see when the bidding was over that my robot partner had only 3 HCPs in his entire hand. That is just wrong. My question to you: Can BBO fix it so that the robots' bids are more like people on BBO? I'm really trying to earn some master points, but as long as a robot's bid is that unpredictable, this is not the way to do it, and it's a costly and discouraging experience as well. Thanks! Just call me "Blasted" [by my robot partner].
  8. Please, please, please make the auto-refresh function on the Open Tables screen an OPTIONAL feature. I am no longer able to look at a table and read the player profiles to decide if I want to join the table without losing the table I am reviewing because the auto-refresh function has kicked in and moved the tables on the screen. I end up chasing the tables and it is so frustrating. I like to be able to choose the people with whom I want to play, but the auto-fresh feature puts the Open Tables screen in perpetual motion & makes me lose my place about 95% of the time. My vote would be to either present this new auto-refresh feature as an option for each user to be able to turn on or off, or to get rid of the auto-refresh feature altogether and let users just press the refresh button manually as we have always been able to do. It has worked fine for all this time. If it's not broken, don't fix it! Thanks for your consideration.
  9. Could you re-think the new auto-refresh function when viewing the open tables? While on the surface, this might be a good idea, in actuality it is cumbersome. When I go to click a player's name to see their profile to decide if I want to join their table, the auto-refresh function often makes me click another person. The table's constant jumping around because it is automatically refreshing itself is frustrating for me as a user of that screen. I am used to refreshing it manually myself, and that works much much better. Thanks.
