Hi all, GIB was bidding 1S over 1H, I raised to 2S and he invited me, holding only 4card Spade and 9 HCP, singleton in Hearts. Hi, I was playing a 55 % tournament.... He raised my 1 minor! opening with a 2 card support, after opponent found a fit where my partner had 4 cards in!! I can understand he thinks I must have a singleton spade, so probably have 5 diamonds, but still with 1444 we're in a 4-2 fit. And even 5-2 is no fit.... If you want to have it just write an e-mail to zimmermann-felix (at) gmx.net The 5C bid was explained as: 1- C; 4+ D; 5+ H; 21- HCP; 17-22 total points At least he was not accepting my grand slam invitation :) When I opened a bidding challenge table I saw he obviously only bids like this if he has no values outside.
