I heard recently (2nd hand) that there is a recent change to Dummy Rights laws regarding Dummy saying "you're in your hand", "you're in the dummy", etc. I've read in 2017 Laws that Dummy can attempt to prevent a lead out of turn, has this changed? What can Dummy legally do in this area?

My new partner wants to learn to play bridge and I've always liked the 2 progs that Fred did - but they are Win prog. Anybody know if the Codeweavers Crossover emulation works for these progs?

Responding to 1♣ - skipping over a 4 card ♦ suit - is common and on the CC. How often do good players skip over a medium 5 card ♦ suit, say KJxxx ? How much does it depend on the quality of the ♥ or ♠ suit.

I have the Bird & Anthais book - Winning Notrump Leads - p. 22 he says that against a 3NT contract, leading away from a 5 card major headed by a K is a good lead.

I see it on BBO B 4 and Just Play hands - may not have a 4 card major.

How to see what these hands can make?

Do you suppose it's 8/10 or 9/10 or more who would almost never underlead an ace in a suit contract?

I have pretty good cards played memory - but not my wife. We are both 73. Looking for an app or other software that would help card memory - any ideas?

What to do when the opponent in 1st seat bids your only suit? 1st seat opens 1H, me in seat 2 stuck for a bid with 15 points xxx in spades, AKQJx in hearts, Kxx in diamonds and Qx in clubs. Neither double nor pass seems right. Opponent had 5 hearts to the 10.

Robot bids Stayman with 2 spades and 3 hearts ?? Unfortunately no way to attach a screen shot of the bidding - kind of a useless forum structure ...

I play frequently at 2 local bridge clubs - one uses mostly player dealt hands so no hand records and the other has a card dealing machine and you get hand records. In the Main Bridge Club in BBO, it seems to me that I see fewer 1NT openings and few 2C Stayman bids and virtually no 2D 2H or 2S transfer bids. Why is this? Also, there seems to be a lot of "intermediates" whose profile specifically states "No transfers". It means that on BBO, I end up playing a dumbed down game compared to the real clubs. Anybody else notice this?
