@smerriman - I just checked now and you're correct. When I create the table chat defaults to the kibbers but if I join a table then chat is to the table. I notice that a new release came out a few days ago (5.6.23), which perhaps fixed this, or perhaps the fix came earlier (I should have double-checked). So thank you for pointing this out. As far as I'm concerned this thread is now closed.

Thanks for your feedback @smerriman. We're using Windows because a mouse is easier to control when your fingers aren't in their prime :) My guess is you're on a tablet. Correct?

I manage a group of over-90s. BBO has been a real boon in covid times. Some are challenged by audio, browser tabs.... so bbo chat is a last resort when playing together. Unfortunately, the players often forget to redirect their chat from the lobby (default at login) to the table. So I don't see their frantic requests for help. It would help those who are computer-challenged, if the chat target switched from lobby to table whenever that person joins a table.

Thanks Pilowsky, That was indeed the problem. I've emailed accounting in the hopes that I can get the bbo$ converted to prime fees. Not sure why there's no warning about this on the page where you have a choice to select credit card or paypal. Alan

Hi, I've noticed how important bbo is becoming in Covid19 times, especially for those in lockdown who've never played online before. As a show of support and gratitude to BBO (free use for several years now) I'd like to join Prime - but I can't work out how Progress: I've discovered that you can only join by logging onto BBO first and using the menu from a PC. (If you do this from a mobile you'll have to use google/apple pay which I want to avoid) It' seems you have to buy BBO$ to pay, because the Prime wizard takes you to the BBO$ screen. I've succeeded in buying BBO$ with my paypal account. But now I can't figure out how to transfer the BBO$ to my Prime membership. Everytime I try to do this it asks for more BBO$ instead of joining. I have checked the paypal and BBO$ account and both confirm that BBO$ have been purchased. Can anyone help me get through this labyrinth and join Prime? Alan

Got it. In my case I host a team match, where I usually don't play. So I find the results by pressing the "Teams" link ( and then control "F" if the match is more than a few minutes old.) Your suggestion is that I instead search for matches played by one of the team-players, and then the "we" is that person's team. Web software...logged off. When I look at team match results, how do I determine who won? I can see the results for "we", and the results for "they", and I can see a list of two teams. Is "we" the first team listed, or the second? Alan (I get by by scanning the boards and finding a board where it's clear who won the IMPs and work backwards from that)

Hi, I would like to see at a glance which team won a previously played match. E.g. Winner: Bold Bidas I often get asked how to see if "my team won" for matches that I organize. I have to send the following algorithm, which I worked out for myself so it may or may not be correct. But it's cumbersome so reckon there could be a simpler solution, such as displaying "winner: bold bidas".

1. I think so, too. And if you're prepared to shrink the label it shouldn't look crammed. E.g. "Others" or "Other's results" I can also confirm it is two clicks, and the second click is from a longer menu of items adding to the discomfort. 2. On the iPhone I could chat from the table. But I couldn't select (or determine) who I was chatting to. Turned out that chat went to the table. Miss a "show other tables " button next to the "show detail" button.

Maybe it's just me (focus on learning bridge) but I often practice without logging on and use "Show Other Tables" a lot. On the mobile app (if you haven't loggged on) there is plenty of space for this button. Instead after I have to click: 1. Show results. 2. Show Details 3. Show Other Tables I'd much prefer a single button "other results". Alan

I still like it :) But +1 for faster action to reach/show chat. +1 for font toggle because there's a world of difference between a big tablet and a small cellular phone. Even better would be responsive or auto-font-size. BTW now that Windows 10 supports Windows apps, is there any chance of a Windows app? I'd give anything to get rid of flash.
