  1. To bad 10 of ♦ isn't 10 of ♣, otherwise np. But now we have to guess who has what. I assume that the 1 NT bidder had maximum hand for his X. So East has max 4 points even though I think only 3. And that is going to be a red King, I am sooo smart  I will win the ♠ in my hand and play a ♣ to the jack and duck a ♣ out. Maybe Ax in NT hand, but probably not. If not I will play for both ♦ honors in NT hand and 9 of ♦ with east. I will be asking what kinda glue west has been sniffing, TO X with such a balanced hand. Mike :D
  2. Many things can work, and also might not work. Depending on my pd and tablefeel, I might opt for either 3♥(asking for stopper), 5♠ or Pass. It really depends on too much stuff, I might make a different bid each time I get similair hand. Mike
  3. I open light and was a passed hand so I think my hand quailified as a XX. I agree it is a little light, but hey live by the sword... Mike
  4. Total points is not for serious bridgeplayer, but for people having fun throwing cards around. No skill involved, no cardinsight needed. Just fun Don't expect a BermudaBowl for totalpoints any time soon hehehe. Mike :)
  5. [hv=d=e&v=e&s=sq984h75da93cq863]133|100|Scoring: IMP (p)-p-(p)-1NT X(DONT)-XX(points)-2♣-p 2♥-p-(p)-X[/hv] What does this X mean? Will you pass or bid ? Mike :)
  6. X. I have support for 3 suits and I am hort in theirs. Should be clearcut, well at least in my eyes. Mike
  7. My pd's hand got better with my X, he doesn't have ♥fit but has a blacksuited hand, with more ♣ then ♠. Not sure if pd has 4♠ for sure, depends on his style. Mike
  8. Now 2 NT is X and passed by pd, I will pass. But I will be confussed somewhat. Pd is now suggesting a somehwhat balanced hand. How come he didn't X the 1 NT bid ? Mike
  9. 2 NT, getting out in 3♣. Misfitting hand. Mike
  10. I would like to know a little more about pd's style in opening or not in first seat. But either way I assume my pd is not totally insane, just a little since he is playing with me. I will bid 3♠, letting pd know I got some hand. Maybe, very maybe he has the perfect hand for slam. Let's try to find out. Mike
  11. I play mostly like Luis does, except I have the Cuebid and Jump in new suit reversed. I like it better that way. Mike
  12. 4♠. let them figure it out at 5 level, where they belong. Mike
  13. I really hope they will use ACBL or WBF qualified directors. Really hope so.... Mike
  14. GL, am happy my ex-wife doesn't play hehe. Mike :D
  15. It is a bidders game but most of you forget Pass is a bid too. And I highly doubt my next decision is at 3 or 4 level. I have not run into problems yet, with making these decisions. Mike :D
  16. I play 9 of ♦ and let it run. Mike :D
  17. Pass first time, and if no overcall I would bid 1♠. Mike :D
  18. Pass, I have extras for my first pass B) Mike
  19. I would look on opps CC and see what their leads are. Mike B)
  20. I have played with you and know you can( and have ) do it on 4-4 minors. So I am somewhat cautious, I will bid 4♦. Mike B)
  21. 6♠ is nice spot, 7 might even be better. Play for ♣ to set up, and doing that sets up a dummy reversal. Mike B)
  22. 6-6 hands are offensive. Don't know many people that going let opps play at 4 level in a major when you have 6-6 in minors. I know I won't.. Mike B)
  23. I just gave my pd's either a prinout of the Website or e-mailed them the link. It's not that hard, and when you started playing bridge you didn't know within one week what every point count was. Start playing it, and you'll get it quick enough. Mike B)
  24. 4 NT is asking for minor, 5♦ is ♦. But I am leaning towards 6♦, depending on who I play with. Mike B)
  25. Bridge is a game of constantly adjusting and re-adjusting. It cannot be written in black or white, and lot of it is and always will be somewhat gray. What works on 1 hand might not work on the next 7. If you are going play bridge with only black and white, you'll be losing a lot. Hope you won't. Mike B)
