Hi everyone, Thanks for all of the comments so far. I have learned a lot from the comments. I didn't even know about splinters before this discussion! Knowing about splinters, I can see that there are some options which I should consider in the future ... assuming my partner also plays splinters. I will also have to read up on the 2NT option.
