I like 4NT and don't worry about missing 6♦. Let them make the next guess in this cramped auction. Although reasonable I would not have Xed the 4♥ bid with the North hand. Certainly X is not 100% penalty on this auction but at this level is it co-operative Take-Out or co-operative Penalty? The 2C bid is automatic IMO.

I totally agree that 3H is a game-force and usually denies strong hearts (unless it has lots of shape or extras). Certainly 'probe' or as you state, 'tell me more partner' should be GIB's default. Though it bypasses 3NT (opener did bid spades and clubs and not 2NT), 4H can be utilized as the splinter. Even if GIB took 3H as natural, at least a very good hand with 6+ diamonds and 5 hearts (admittedly rare) would be allowed to pattern out.

Corinne confirmed via email that GIB treats this 3H bid as a splinter (in support of Clubs). If that is true, I certainly think that interpretation by GIB should be at least revisited. I would estimate that over 95% of bridge players would NOT treat 3H as a splinter. If not true, then you have a bug. Only NS were bidding. I was South. After my 3H bid Robot North now bid 4NT (RKC for clubs). Belatedly I clicked on 3H which was explained as 'Splinter..4+ clubs; 5+ diamonds; 1- hearts; 17+ Total Points; forcing to 3NT' 1♠ - 2♦ 3♣ - 3♥ Thanks

Correcting 2H to 2S to show 4 spades (NF but invitational) is certainly a good treatment.

Same robots as other BBO applications games e.g. ACBL Robot Duplicate MP tournament.

I like 3H for the lead. Yes it is forcing and I hope I keep them out of game/slam. I hope partner doesn't start Xing 4mn which I will pull of course. Second choice is an immediate 4S.

I assume the same robots are used in Play Bridge-4 hands where BBO wants to stimulate increased membership. Uncontested auction 1S-2D 3D-3H 3S- back to GIB who now bid 4S on 9-J10XX-AJ7X-KQJX I can live with 2D instead of 2C; 3H over 3D is certainly questionable but not bidding 3NT over 3S with KQJX♣ would seem to fall into the bug category. Developer might want to check this out - 1C-P-1S-X 1NT Gib showed this as 18-19 balanced. I agree free 1NT should not be 12 or bad 13 but WHO plays this 1NT as 18-19?
