  1. Yes. As a matter of preference, do you guys think playing - change of suit, jump-raise - in uncontested auctions is best to show specifically a 3-card limit raise, or is it better to lump the 3/4-card limit raises into the same bid and treat the former sequence as forcing? (Assuming you don't want to play 2/1 and bundle the 3-card raise into 1NT).
  2. 1♠(2♣)2♦ 2NT (no) 3♠ Hi all. Playing SAYC, is 3S forcing? Would the same apply without the 2c overcall? Thanks.
  3. Assuming you always play 2♥/2♠ as weak twos and 2♣ as a game force, what's the best use for a 2♦ opening and why?
  4. Thanks for the response. Yes, we did consider that; there was some disagreement about who should be making the slam try. South thought that North should be cue-bidding 4♦ but North felt that 4♦ was an overbid and south should be pushing on over 4♠ because of the double-fit in clubs.
  5. NORTH ♠Ax ♥QTx ♦AJ ♣JT98xx SOUTH (dealer) ♠KQTxxx ♥Axx ♦K ♣AQx Hi all. I play a simple, acol-based system and played the above hand with my partner. The auction went: 1S - 2C - 3S - 4S - end. Can someone please suggest what the correct auction to 6S should be? Thanks.
