I have play Help Suit Game Try with my regular partners. However, We have some problems in the agreement on whether we should start the counter help. We have 2 different agreements as follows: (1) When we have no help on partner's help suit (say 1♥-2♥-2♠) but maximum hand (say ♠xxx ♥Kxx ♦AQxx ♣xxx) , we would use counter help (say 3♣ in this example); or (2) When we have help on partner's help suit but not good enough to bid game (same sequence and you hold ♠KTx ♥Jxx ♦Kx ♣T98xx). Any opinion on which one is surperior and why?
