But isn't a key point that 7NT doesn't make? You're of course right if North attacks with a club. Due lack of entries to East's hand. All different lead E-W make the 7NT contract. But, this is the only lead, a club, that North must lead since South bid 4 ♣
A supplement to my comment, first, if your hand is notbalanced, be sure that the opponents’ handis also unbalanced. Secondly, how does East-West reach to 7NT: East opens onediamond. East’s hand is too strong forpreemptive. South bids four clubs,West bids Double North – Pass, East 4 diamonds and West bids 7NT.
In this cards layout, meaning, East is the dealer, and none is Vul the final auction should be 7NT no matter the opponents cards distribution.
