  1. On the app, there now appears a "shop" icon. clicking on this reveals an unbelievable ripoff to buy BBO$. Markups range from 25-50%. Thus $20 of BBO$ will ding you for $30. I find this an outrageous attempt to take advantage of those who might accidentally click to buy when they can simply buy on the bridgebase web page.
  2. It would be nice to be able to look at a list of upcoming games before 2 hours to gametime. If my partner and I are planning our schedule for tomorrow, let's say, we can't see what choices there may be. I understand the logic of preventing signups before the two hour window, but a simple text schedule would be great.
  3. On the GIB convention card, standard count is marked. However, I have noticed on several occasions that at trick one in an obvious count situation, GIB plays low from a doubleton. Is it confused between count & attitude?
  4. Holding as N, GIB held: ♠K5 ♥J852 ♦Q3 ♣KQ532 Auction went: S W N E 1♥ 2♦ PASS!? PASS DBL PASS 2♥?
  5. I usually don't rant much about the robots' bidding, but one area that really needs to be addressed is their bidding after takout doubles. They do not seem to recognize that the takeout doubler can have a strong one-suited hand. Today, the auction proceeded [hv=pc=n&s=s5hakq975dak97cat&n=skjh62dt842cj8532&d=e&v=b&b=10&a=1dd2s3c3s4hp5c]266|200[/hv] First, the hand really isn't worth a 3♣ call on such a ratty suit, but on the auction, it has a clear pass of 4♥. The other weakness in takeout double auctions (and in general) is that it doesn't downgrade poorly placed honors in the opponents' suits and it upgrades shortness in suits in which partner is known to be short.
