After approximately 20 bingo tourneys, I thought it would be nice to give some feedback. First of all I did know the format already, I played it once (offline) but then we should get particular scores (i.e. +620, +200, -50) instead of games in this version. Since I played already quite a lot bingo tourneys, I cannot deny anymore that it is fun to play, mostly because it is a different way to play the same game. The very fast pace (15 hands in 25 minutes is doable) and competitive element of this game make me register over and over again. That said I don't really believe I keep on playing at this rate. There are disadvantages to this format. Deciding to play 4 hearts in a 5-2 fit over 3 NT is ok to me, but passing a forcing bid from partner feels a bit like cheating. Playing 2 spades, when you could make a slam isn't bridge anymore for me. Also knowing you have the strongest hand makes it relatively easy to play a low contract (i.e. 2 diamonds, 3 clubs, 2 spades) by just opening or overcalling weak. Maybe slams (and games) should be extra rewarded, but I don't see fast how. A came across a little presentational bug (but didn't play since this afternoon (CET), so it can already be solved), and that had to do with the restarts when opponents made a game. If you need 1200 points for a restart it shows only 700, but making a non vulnarable slam doesn't help. It seems to me it always shows a number between 500 and 990 when needing more then 500 points. But it is great to see new features and I'll keep on playing this format once in a while (I think).
