I like 3H here. That should best help us decide between 3NT, 5D or 6D. I don't think I want to play a Moisian 4S on these cards, although I guess it could be right.

My second choice is pass. Which there's a case for (although I wouldn't do it).

Hi all The last few days the only part of BBO I've been able to connect to is the old Windows client. The web version, the app and even BBO forums (until now) have all been unresponsive. Could this be down to my current location? I've recently moved to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. It worked OK for the first few weeks. Even Help Me Find A Game hasn't been working properly of late.

I think North misunderstood the inference from South's 3D bid on her third bid, rather than 2NT.

Didn't a bloke called Bob come up with a rule for this situation? I've shown 4-6 in spades and diamonds (presumably), so I can't have that much of a club stop.

Picked up what appears to be a bug. Unfortunately I don't know how to take screen shots on my phone. Clicked help me find a game. I started to receive chat from my table but my screen didn't update from the lobby. I had to apologise to the table host via chat explaining the situation. He said he could see me sat at the table properly.

I would bid 3NT.

I bid 5H and then 6S. I think this should tell partner not to worry about first round control in hearts, nor to worry about the trumps. So with A♦ K♣ he might just find a raise.

I pass. I have a lot of losers here, and I don't see any reason why partner should cover them.

If double is Stayman, then I bid whatever I would do if RHO had passed to show this hand. If that involves bidding 2NT as a transfer to diamonds, then I bid that then 3NT, which hopefully should show a hand like this (a hand with long diamonds that wants to play 3NT). I'm not sure what I do now. If my 3D on the second round shows a game forcing hand, then I pass and await developments. I don't know whether or not to bid 4NT, 5D or to double 4C. Hopefully partner does.

I always get them the next morning when I wake up, since bridge nights finish too late and my brain is too active to go to sleep quickly.

Actually, I would rate 2S much higher than X or P. But still nowhere near as high as 1S.

I remember having a bid argument with a partner about a similar sequence when I held Kx of their suit. Partner had intended it as a light take-out double. My argument was that I had decided to trust partner rather than opponents.

Q. Do I have anything at all that I didn't show with my initial double? A. No. Q. Is there any reason from partner's bidding that suggests I have to do something here? A. No. Partner couldn't open the bidding or do anything over opponents' 5H bid. Therefore I pass.

I'm happy reopening this one with a double. Yes, the void is a concern, but no-one's forcing partner to pass with an unsuitable hand. I have AKA in defense as well.

I like receiving one. The trouble is, you have to go and get it engraved, and then you have to play the event the next year or post it off. I prefer to get one you keep and be done with it.

On the new Android version, I find that when I select a card, I used to be able to double tap on it to play it. Now it seems whenever I do that, it selects a different card the second time. Can this be sorted out?

I think it's too late as well. But since the question was what I switch to now, I select the Q of clubs.

I'd say that this e-mail isn't exactly the politest or most friendly e-mail ever written, but against that I don't think you can claim this as being racist or anti-Semitic or anything similar. Incidentally, the language sounds like the DC is a non-native English speaker.
