It seems that players are getting ruder in Individual tournaments. I always figure that you'll get some good players and some dolts -- I don't see Bob Hamman signing on to these things -- and that you roll with the results, good or bad. But more and more a slipped trick, or a perceived slip even if it wasn't, gets a rebuke from "partner." And that's even when we score positive IMPs! I make mistakes, as do most of the people I play with, but is it necessary to get so irritated by imperfect bridge? If so, please go hire a pro and let the rest of us have fun. Or just be quiet.
