My regular browser is Firefox. Today, the daily free tournament is not even starting. It's sticking even before the first hand is dealt (i am using a different userid than the one I am using to post here). I tried in incognito mode (where there would be no cache) and the same issue there also. I tried with edge & same issue there also. In all cases I tried with both flash version & also v3.

Am I the only one affected by this? For me, this happens in the Free Daylong Tournament. I can't even play a single hand of the tournament without it "sticking" in the middle of the hand. Then I have press back & get out of the tournament & come back in again. In a 10 hand tournament, I end up doing it 15 times at least. Happens in both Flash & v3. Can the devs/admins please look at this. BBO Day Long Tournament has pretty much become unusable for me. I have no issues with the Friday Free Solitaire tournament in Flash/V3 or the Bridge Bingo in Flash.

For the last week or so, I have been having a problem with games getting frozen in the middle of the daily free tournaments. I mean it's time for the bot to play & the bot doesn't play & then I have to click on the Back button & go back & reenter the tournament. I cannot even pay a single hand without going back & reentering. This is happening in both Flash Version & also the v3 version. Anyone else facing this?

I am also unable to register, but I am getting error code 1040. This is v3 on both Firefox & Edge.

Another one. 3♣ is shown as a pre-empt.

The meaning of the 3♦ response to 3♣ stayman over 2NT is shown as "4th Seat Pre-empt - 7+♦" which is wrong. I have frequently seen wrong bid meanings shown while playing Solitaire from this URL - https://www.bridgebase.com/client/web0.php?p=n

The old Flash Based Solitaire Games now seem to redirect to v3. 2 questions - I am unable to find a "Redeal" option in the redirected version - Is there a way to remove the "Players Online" window in the redirected version

Please consider bringing it back. Even if not for twice every hour every day, atleast once an hour or once every 2 hours or something. Will it cause a significant load difference? I mean, I spend the time I played Bridge Bingo in playing one of the Solitaire Bridge Games now. So the number of people playing may not be significantly different with or without Bridge Bingo.

The Free Bridge Bingo Tournaments don't seem to be happening for the last 12-13 hours. There is usually 2 every hour. I checked a few times and couldn't find it. Has it been stopped?

Is there a fixed schedule for the 10 person free Bingo Race held everyday. How many times does it happen per day & is there a fixed time when a new one starts & how long before the start is it announced?

Previously one could click on the redeal button at anytime during bidding or play & get the hand redealt. Now the redeal never works - I always get a "Cannot Redeal" message when I click on the Redeal Button. I am using the Flash version. Is this a bug?

There are certain members who join the tourneys (2/1 30seconds per decision) & disrupt it regularly. [...] Is it possible to do automatic monitoring of these tourneys to look for players who frequently make bids which end up -3000 or more in tourneys and do something about it. [...]

In the new interface, if you click on a card when it's your turn to play, it's very difficult to not play that card even if you haven't released your click yet. I mean you accidentally touch a card without finishing the clicking (by releasing the click), then in the older BBO, it was very simple to move to a different card & play that card. This is much more difficult in the new version. I am using the latest Firefox on Windows 10.

I can't find the option to turn on or off "Sounds".

In the last couple of years, on BBO,I play only the Free Daylong Tournaments, the Solitaire Weekly free instant tournament & the Solitaire Free Unlimited Stream of Hands with the bots. If you look at my profile, I have a Board Completion Rate of 100% and a Tournament Completion rate of 50%. I rarely leave the free tournaments without completing. So I am wondering if playing the Solitaire Free Unlimited Stream of hands is messing up my completion rate - I mean unlimited streams cannot be completed right? If so, then this is surely a wrong design of the Tournament Completion Rate Calculation.

Hi, I am from Bombay, India - Intermediate player. Are there any other members here from India? I am looking for some books on Bridge & I can't seem to find them in any of the bookstores locally. These are the books I am looking for - Killing Defense - Hugh Kelsey - 5 weeks to winning bridge - Alfred Sheinwold - Bid Better, Play Better - Dorothy Truscott. I went to Crossroads(a book chain) last week. I asked the attendant if they had any bridge books - he had no clue what I am talking about. He then went to his computer & proceeded to search for 'Bitch' & asked me if I wanted the book by Jackie Collins. Anyway, I haven't been able to locate any of these books. I checked in online stores, one of them ships from USA - but for new books, the shipping charges are more than the cost of the books & for second hand books, the cost+shipping is more than the cost of a new book. If someone in this forum from Bombay on this forum knows where I can buy these books, do let me know. If you have a copy & are willing to lend it for a few weeks, I can come and pick it up (if you are in Bombay) or am prepared to pay shipping charges(from any other part of India). The only book I have currently is Goren's Complete Bridge (Hardback) purchased from the USA.
