I was going to write an article about tie breaks and the single-board format used in Tromsø. I was watching BBO when HESKJE v BAKER was decided. But I can no longer find record of the deal - let alone bidding and play. Does it exist anywhere? It's not in the Vugraph archive nor mentioned in any bulletins from the event to date. The board is listed in the results (bd 1 in the 15-28 set) but there is no hand-record. Not essential but I'd framed the words around the piece and I'd like to use it. Chris Chambers

In Bidding Naturally (Batsford, 1979), Joe Amsbury gives a very similar pair of hands: ♠ 1084 ♥ J93 ♦ AQ3 ♣ QJ84 ♠ A ♥ AKQ1087 ♦ 84 ♣ AK103 Back in the day strong-twos ruled, at least in Amsbury's world, and he bid 2♥ - 3♥; 5♣ - 5♠; 5NT - 7♣; with the only annotation, "All quite smooth". I had the memory which now appears to be false, that he credited this sequence to the Sharples brothers but though I have the book, I can't find that.

Hmm, allegedly 'a=-6SS' sets 6S by South without an auction. It knows (as next post notes) the contract and declarer. I also note that the highlighting of each seat when they take an action doesn't happen as play progresses. Is it a coincidence that the 'claim' is in the same highlight/orange? Bizarrely missed Support Forum - not sure how that happened.

Apologies is advance if this is the wrong forum, it's my first post... I've been putting together some Handviewer displays for teaching. I'd like to avoid the distraction of an auction but unless I do enter something, I can't get a claim to appear when I reach the end of prescribed play. That is, if I specify ..&k=s&a=-6SS&p=...&c=12 I don't see the claim and the reveal of all the cards but... If I specify ..&k=s&d=s&a=6Sppp&p=...&c=12 I do Is this a known problem? Is it strangely dependent on other options?
