  1. E/W are good standards of bridge skills (they are national trialists).
  2. if UI occurs, when should it be drawn attention to? Immediately or by the end of auction? It may create disputes over a long sequences of auction.
  3. Yes partner's normal tempo is one or two seconds (slower than normal tempo). E thought regardless partner's break of tempo, she will bid on, and she chose 3C. Thanks for editing the diagram, really appreciate it.
  4. [hv=pc=n&s=sk984hq3da632cqj3&w=saj75h92dq974ck95&n=sqt632hjt865dk5ct&e=shak74djt8ca87642&d=s&v=e&b=3&a=1dp1sd2sp(BIT)p3cp3n4sdppp]399|300[/hv] West broke temp for a second or two after 2♠, W has a slow tempo in normal circumstance. Result: down 3, -500. 3NT would have gone -2. 1. Does E have a 3C bid? 2. If N/S are seeking a ruling for their damage, will you grant it? Thanks
  5. Bd 1: 5C Bd 2: looks like pd has 5/4 D, 4/3 H, 2 S. Odds more likely 2-4-5-2 which 2S will go off. 3C is risky and may make with perfect fit, but against this vulnerability I pass. Bd 3: play D to the 10, if a S returns, ruff and play A and Q of H, what ever returns, draw last trump. If a S returns, try to ruff in dummy. Bd 4: pd is marked with 2 H normally not 3 and with 5-7 pts. This is a misfit. Looks like nothing going to make. Best contract maybe in D. At teams I would risk 3D
  6. Q2) I play after 2D rebid from W, x from N is penalty; from south for take out. The danger of bidding sp from South after 2D rebid is that W could still have 4sp and partner may have length in H and clubs which is quite risky to go minus than a possible plus score. Sorry I have not worked out how to use the symbles for H/D/S/C.
