BBO 'Express' tournaments offer an interesting & enjoyable event - HOWEVER - I find it extremely frustrating from a number of aspects --- as follows -- what do you think ?? - what changes would help ???? A.... i have been 'timed' out from some events, since I find waiting 8/9 minutes for the start of the event as toooooooooooooo long .... quite simply ... 8 minute wait is too long !! It has meant that i got distracted, am researching, sending emails, etc, & consequently time quickly passes & forget I was signed in ! . >>>>>>>> thus can I suggest that BBO limit signing period to say 4 minutes max ? . B-- slow bidding by opps ! -- means hands get timed out = average scores !!!!! ...................& i have lost out many times, achieving 50% and not +ve +50% scores :-( !!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.... thus can I suggest you extend bidding / play time to 7 minutes from 6 ? . D..... thus following on from reducing bidding time to 45 secs; >>>>>>>>>> suggest, initiating warnings after 15 secs delay; then @ 30 - then quickly inserting a robot . E ..... then arising from this player being timed out they are informed by email @ their failure & how many 'failures' they are allowed before being barred from entering ? . F -- robots - !!! I double for penalties & get taken out by the robot !!!!! = 0 % !!!!! >>>>>>> extremely annoying --- can robots be told to 'shut-up ' ? . G... 'averages'; far too many averages occur; especially through deliberate slow play by opps when they are losing !!!! >>>>>>>> can TD be called to adjudicate ---- or build in penalty, to be levied upon opps for slow play ???? ..
