  1. I was reading and article on the rule of restricted choice and the nine card fit missing the QJ (quack) case was discussed. The author talked about how the queen is played half the time and the jack half the time from a doubleton Is this actually the case? Many experienced players play random but what is your experience as to the actual play of the general bridge population?
  2. I use a Acer EEE PC netbook for BBO and other bridge stuff (Bridge Baron) Since bridge does not require fancy or large graphics, the 10.1 inch screen is just about perfect when combined with the light weight Who else uses a netbook? Lester
  3. Thanks to everyone for these great replies
  4. I watched a hand yesterday where there was a 9 card fit missing KQ, declarer finessed first round, losing to the K, and then finessed again for the Q (loosing it was a 2-2 split with KQ offside) Many of the kibitzers thought this was wrong, "nine never" and all. Isn't this a rule of restricted choice situation? There was no useful information from the auction about the distribution of the suit Thanks
  5. What do the circled red numbers and stars mean in the hand displays
  6. I would like to have a one hand kibitzing option (Only see one selected hand rather than all four). This would allow me to practice counting hands. Maybe include some reveal options
